Reaffirmation and Accreditation
Since our beginning in 1970, Piedmont Community College has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing quality educational opportunities for the people we serve. Our accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and our reaffirmation at regular intervals throughout our history proudly confirm our continuing commitment to excellence.

The College was reaffirmed in 2013 and will be submitting a five-year report in 2018. The 2013 reaffirmation also included the College’s Quality Enhancement Plan, Quantitative Reasoning or QR4U. The purpose of QR4U is to improve students’ quantitative reasoning skills by implementing mathematics across the curriculum, using problem-solving and real-life applications. QR4U is the slogan to emphasize that quantitative reasoning is a skill that everyone needs in their daily lives.
